REMOTE COMMUNITY SERVICES

Opportunity Resources Remote Community Services provides a variety of services in the Flathead County area.  Our program is an individually crafted system to enable adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in their community. Our Supported Living and Companion services provide individualized and home-based support promoting independence by identifying, planning, and accomplishing goals to improve the quality of life of a person with a disability.

SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES

Supported Living Services provide person centered and individually customized home-based support to promote independence by identifying, planning, and accomplishing goals to improve your quality of life.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for these services, you must be determined eligible through the Montana Developmental Disability Program and also be enrolled in the Medicaid 0208 Waiver program or be willing to private pay for services.

Self-Directed Services give individuals with disabilities and their families more freedom in managing their individual budgets. For many, having the ability to be more involved in what services they receive and who provides those services is especially important.
Self-directing services will require more responsibility and expectations from the individual and their support network. Successful self-direction builds on natural support networks through contributions from communities, friends, and family members.

What does ORI offer?
Agency with Choice: With this option, ORI is the legal employer and is responsible for the hiring and onboarding of your chosen staff member(s), State required training,  and service documentation requirements. Those individuals who enroll in self-directed services often felt increased control over service delivery. Individuals still have a Case Manager to help monitor ongoing service delivery and individual budgets.

What does Self-Direction mean for me and my family?

If you are participating in a Montana Developmental Disabilities waiver, you may be able to Self-Direct all or a portion of your services. Agency with Choice Self-Direct allows you, your representative or family to have more control over:

What: Services or support is received based on assessed needs.
When: Services are provided.
Who: Provides the service.
How: Services are provided.
