Classes & membership

What’s the difference between a class and a membership?
Classes are done in groups, with a specific objective or learned medium taught by an Artists of Opportunity staff member or Resident Artist.

Do I need to complete an orientation before I can use the studio?

Are materials included in classes or memberships, or do I need to bring my own?
Yes and no.
Classes: Yes, materials are included in the price of class registration.
Memberships: No. Some basic art supplies are provided, like drawing paper, acrylic paint, markers, crayons, and colored pencils. However, some mediums may require you to bring in your own supplies. What’s the cancellation/refund policy for classes or memberships?
Classes can be cancelled 3 days before the class start date for a full refund, minus a 3% processing fee. Within 3 days of the start date, classes cannot be cancelled and no refund will be given. Memberships cannot be cancelled and no refund will be given.
