MAX BAUER
Board Member
Max Bauer Jr. is a Missoula native, and retired Municipal Manager for Montana for Republic Services, a national refuse and recycling company. He has received numerous awards over the years for community service and environmental excellence. Currently, in addition to ORI, he serves on the boards of the Montana Wild Sheep Foundation, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality Advisory Council, and Five Valley Lands Trust Committee; he recently completed two terms on the Missoula Aging Services Board. He reports that his years on the ORI board have been the most educational and rewarding experience of his career.
